September 7- November 23, 2025

The Gospel of Mark moves along quickly, so stay alert. We will cover a lot of territory in twelve weeks. Let's match the quick pace of this book and and stay on the move - following Jesus swiftly and obediently. With uncertainties all around us, Iet's not waste time and instead stay on the move ...and follow Jesus quickly.

Week 1: On the Move (Mark 1). Pastor Robb Williams

7 September 2025

The Gospel of Mark moves along quickly. If you pause for a moment and take some consideration, you could easily be left behind. Following Jesus is not a philosophical quest, or even academic. Instead, it is relational and is made of simple and spontaneous acts of obedience. Let’s introduce Mark with a call to follow quickly.

Week 2: Gifts From Jesus (Mark 2). Pastor Robb Williams

Jesus did not come to receive- but rather to give. In today’s passage we will learn to look beyond the excitement of miracles and see the life changing gifts of Jesus. Through faith in Jesus we can live lives of total forgiveness, fulfillment and freedom!

Week 3: Types of People (Mark 3). Pastor Robb Williams

We may want to stay at the surface of Christianity with all its excitement (The Shallow), or join the chorus of criticism (The Critic), but to be a discipler of disciples is what following Jesus has always been about (The Follower).

Week 4: Rest with Jesus (Mark 4). Pastor Robb Williams

In the midst of a real, life-threatening challenge, the disciples turned to Jesus for help. Yet, Jesus responded by gently rebuking their lack of faith. This morning we will move quickly from a concept to practical application.

Week 5: Lose Your Lunch (Mark 6). Pastor Robb Williams

By way of Jesus’ feeding the five thousand, I want us to be challenged to give all that we have to Jesus to be used for his service.

Week 6: Special Guest. Pastor Bob Fetterhoff

12 October 2025

This is a special Sunday. Pastor Bob has traveled to Israel nearly countless times and will speak to the subject "Will there ever be lasting peace in Israel?"

Week 7: Great Expectations (Mark 9). Pastor Robb Williams

19 October 2025

Jesus speaks his followers about certain responsibilities and expectations that accompanies being a Jesus follower.  Most of us claim to follow Jesus, but could it be that a certain number of us fail to meet these three expectations?

Week 8: Eyes Wide Open (Mark 10). Pastor Robb Williams

26 October 2025

This morning we’ll consider a fun challenge that we could all accept. Keep our eyes open! We have opportunities to care for people all around us, just like Jesus. Let’s take a look at this commonly told story of Jesus and all become more aware of the needs of such varying people around us.

Week 9: Love God (Mark 12). Pastor Robb Williams

2 November 2025

There are many programs, gimmicks and strategies to build our self worth.  Well, tucked away in the brilliant teachings of Jesus is the path to real self-esteem. Let’s think through the simple process as building blocks as we discover God’s strategy of raising our view of ourselves and see how it affects those around us.

Week 10: Last Days (Mark 13). Pastor Robb Williams

9 November 2025

In one of the more intriguing passages in the Gospels, Jesus makes mention of some very dramatic future events. Let’s take this passage and answer, "how we are to live today knowing we are in the last days?"

Week 11: Awkward Gift (Mark 14). Pastor Robb Williams

16 November 2025

A follower of Jesus gives faithfully to their church, a local ministry, to family and friends, and even to strangers. Followers of Jesus even give when it seems an awkward thing to do. Let’s expand our understanding of giving and produce a little awkwardness ourselves.

Week 12: Revelations of the Cross (Mark 15:21-32). Pastor Robb Williams

23 November 2025

The physical sufferings of Jesus have been, and remain, a window through which we see his heart- the heart of God (says R. Kent Hughes.)  This is what we hope to see as we consider "The Revelation of the Cross."\
